Friends and Family

Some pets are really stressed when left at even the best Boarding Kennels my friends come to beautiful rural Hampshire

The dogs can lie curled up on a beanbag by the Aga, stretch out sun bathing on the lawn or under a shady tree. The back door stays open so that they can choose to be indoors or scamper around the large garden chasing everything from balls to butterflies. There is often a child or two to play with and always plenty of toys, tripe sticks or fresh marrow bones to choose from. Plus an adventure plkayground!

We own Papillons, Cavalier King Charles and Chinese Crested that live in the kitchen and are there to welcome everyone  -   VERY VERY LOUDLY.... ( sorry)

Depending on who is around at the time, the place resembles anything from a St Trinians College day trip led by Moss, to a Derby & Joan Convention or even (heaven forbid) a Club 18 - 30 Resort.. I also provide a taxi service for them to and from the seaside, the river or the Pub. This pklace is like a Country Club for Canines. Friends of the family often drop in on a sunny summers day to sit outside with the dogs and glass of wine...

L-R Molly, Zara and Louis the older Paps -  Percy and Lilley watching TV with mum, and then... the mighty Mossman!

We enjoy drives to the river, snoozing in the sun and.... getting muddy

Lochie hates it here... look at her smiling in the snow     Mols is in seventh heaven aka a muddy stream

No dangerous breeds will be kept      and     some dogs are positively discouraged..      Party gatecrashers not welcome

Dog’s normal routine honoured; feeding, grooming, medication.

Special needs for elderly or disabled animals catered for

Vaccination certificates required on first visit please

For safety, dogs will not have free exercise off the lead away from the home
but can expect various trips - for example to the Pub or the River or perhaps just amble around the fields

I reserve the right to sleep and/or feed my doggie guests in a separate "indoor kennel" in the kitchen of necessary
All my little dogs are crated at night - there would be mayhem and carnage
every morning if I didn't...

When you've arranged a time to drop off or collect your pet...
...please do your best to stick to it as other holiday dogs, for their own safety, have to be kept indoors.

IS YOUR DOG MICROCHIPPED?
Please notify your microchip company that your dog is with me during your holiday. Not that I intend losing your dog... if someone accidentally leaves a gate open we need to get your dog back HERE.
There would no point phoning your home number while you're away.

I am really very sorry but, due to almost being lynched by the family on more than a few occasions,
I will be keeping my weekends, Bank Holidays and evenings free of doggie time constraints so....
no more pre-booking of times on these days for the collection or delivery of pets. Phone on the day and see what our family schedule is like.

Senior Citizens (Marley and Jess) get extra fuss..

On the odd occasion that we manage to squeeze in a few days away.. I have a wonderful local lady that take care of my dogs. Mrs Nina Byles MBE can either move into the house full time or just help me out during the day. Nina is an International Show Judge, her greatest passion being Dalmations... although a little English Springer has recently taken up residence with her and husband Sim. Nina spent many years with Ted Edgar's show jumping yard so a big stroppy dog pulling on a lead is very easily managed. Nina used to travel all over the UK but no longer strays far from home...

Nina sits with sleepy Finty - glass of wine in hand.... This is definitely THE life!

And at the festive Yuletide???

Christmas Party  - even the neighbours cats come over....

Spangle and Monty (two regulars) send their Christmas Card
